I had a different scenario in mind when I read Ciaobella's puzzle. Here goes: A woman told her husband that their electric heater was not working and needed repair. He couldn't have been happier. |

Is the happiness related to the repairs of the heater? The lack of a working heater? |

Does temperature have a hand in it? Noise? Is the type of heater relavent? Was it a radiator or a convector? Did it have a fan? Would the husband have the same reaction were it were oil operated? |

Was the husband happy because he expected to pay less for utilities from now on? (This would make me very happy) Because he would get the opportunity to install a new heating source? |

Would the husband be happy, if an alternative heat source was not a gas heater? Was he happy for a gas heater because of the fuel it uses? the flame it generates? heating effectiveness? other feature? Was he going to use the gas heater for other purpose than heating? Is crime involved? |

carbon monoxide poisoning? That's it. The husband wants to get rid of his wife, and sees the perfect opportunity. He knows the old gas heater is broken and emitting deadly levels of carbon monoxide, and uses it to poison her. |
