I haven't posted a new puzzle in a while, so here's an easy one for you guys. Whenever someones offers Marla (H/A/F) a ride home, she says no and walks home. How come? | ||

Does Marla have an issue with whatever mode of transportation is being offered? Is she afraid that the person offering the ride will take a detour? | ||

If she was offered a lift from her home to somewhere she was going, would she turn it down for the same reason? If she was offered a lift in a motorbike sidecar would she turn it down? Would she not get the bus (assuming there was a bus that would take her home) for the same reason that she turns down lifts? Would she be happy for somebody to walk home with her? | ||

RECAP Marla is an overweight H/A/F. Whenever someone offers her a ride home, she refuses if her way home is less than five miles, give or take. She would also refuse rides in motorbike sidecars or taking the bus. Walking is yopeishly part of a treatment that she follows in order to lose weight, but losing weight or increasing her fitness are not her main reason to refuse the ride. | ||
