I used to have a scrund about checks and money orders. Although the scrund seems ridiculous, I've encountered other people who had it too. What is it? |

Are differences between checks and money orders relevant? Or a similarity that they share? |

Relevant how old you were when you had this scrund? For example, children believe you can write a check whenever you need money, regardless of how much you might have in the bank. Anything like that? |

I know nothing about money orders. This should be interesting. Thank God for Wikipedia! Anything to do with the appearance of either document? Anything to do with $ limits on either? Anything to do with regulations on either? Relevant that in the U.S. you're better off just using a Credit Card instead of a Money Order? Is the endorsement relevant? |

With apologies for UK spelling .. . Are personalised cheque books relevant? Did you understand the concept of a cheque book ? or did you think that everytime you wanted to write a cheque you had to go to your bank and get one? Anything to do with the fact that Money Orders are prepaid and therefore in theory the payee is guaranteed to get value for it whereas a cheque can bounce? Crossing cheques relevant? Endorsing? Don't want to get all banky on you here but i've worked in the industry since 1989. |

A money order, like a cashier's check, is the same as money, therefore should call for a different type of postage than if you sent a check. Is this relevant? |
