you = Liz? knew..... that actually Ann was forced to do something? that actually Ann didn't do what Liz think she did? that actually Ann plucked up her courage in a secret way? If she really knew what Ann had in mind, would she be surprised? mad? ashamed of Ann? |

Well well look who's back in town. Lovely to 'see' you again Alhucema . I Hope Inspector Millet has a few cases he needs our help with. Is this courage as in facing danger? coping with illness or bereavement? overcoming obstacles? moral courage? speaking out against something? standing up to someone? |

Is it relevant that Liz and Ann were H/A/F? Could the puzzle work with males? With teens? |

Thank you, Peter! I am delighted to see you, too. And, speaking of Inspector Millet, his last case still haunts me as I did not finish it basically one tiny step from the solution. /hanging my head down in deep shame/ Is this courage as in facing danger? Before answering this one I would need some more clarification from you coping with illness As above or bereavement? No overcoming obstacles? moral courage? Possibly, see above speaking out against something? standing up to someone? No to rest Is it relevant that Liz and Ann were H/A/F? Yes Could the puzzle work with males? Possibly but much less likely With teens? Almost the same as with adults was the alternative to ann doing the courageouss thing even worse? yes, with a possible FA lurkingso actually what she did was only because she was afraid not to? No was ann in fact even more courageous than liz thought? Definitely |

Like Liz thought Ann had given up her newborn baby to adoptive parents. Actually she made an abortion long time ago? And Liz would have been surprised for Ann was diehard Catholic if she had known the truth, which Ann intentionally hid from Liz because she felt shame.? Just a lousy guess. Was... Religion involved? Ann saving lives/ a life? Money involved? Liz herself involved? |

Is pregnancy involved? Health? Did the situation concern private affairs? Job affairs? Did Ann show the "courage" at the moment when Liz was speaking? Earlier? |

And, continuing this line of thought... Ann's head is shaven. Liz assumes she has done some "Shave your head for charity" thing and tells Ann that she admires her courage. But Ann is actually going through cancer and lost her hair due to chemotherapy? |

Liz assumes she has done some "Shave your head for charity" thing and tells Ann that she admires her courage. But Ann is actually going through cancer and lost her hair due to chemotherapy? This is so close that it's time for the **********SPOILER************ Ann has overcome cancer and lost her hair due to chemotherapy. But it's all over, she's cured now and her hair has slowly started growing again. One day, Ann decides to stop wearing her wig and go for her natural hair. She goes to a hairdresser and has her hair dyed and styled so that it looks as if she decided to have it cropped. And here Liz comes in, thinking that Ann's hairdo is just a result of her courageous decision to make a radical change of her looks. But Ann knows that the real courage was elsewhere. Wow, that was quick! I thought it would last longer :-)) Thank you all for participating and special credit goes to Doriana for cutting it so short! |
