Somehow, I can't come up with any real lateral puzzles at the moment, so here's a neologism for you. Lately, I've been experiencing bibriw quite a lot. |

Is bibriw a noun? Is it pleasant? Can anybody experience it? Or is it limited by age/gender/location/education/ownership of an object/any other factor? |

Is bibriw a noun? yesish. It's more like a noun plus a subordinate clause Is it pleasant? no! good q Can anybody experience it? Or is it limited by age/gender/location/education/ownership of an object/any other factor? It is limited by age, I'd say only people over the age of 16 or so can experience it. It's also yopishly limited by location. No to rest |

(There might be cases where you can experience it outdoors, but generally, I'd say, you experience it only indoors) |

The activity : driving? cleaning dishes? cleaning the house? arguing with your neighbour? Do you need to have a partner for the said activity? If so, does he need to be physically present, or -- for example -- on the telephone or on the Internet? |

Does the activity involve: reading? possibly writing? possibly speaking? less likely listening? less likely Do you need a computer for this activity? not necessarily, but I'm usually using a computer when I experience bibriw Is it a game or competition of some kind? no Can you experience it in a driving car? no Can you experience it in your house? unlikely, I never do Do you need some kind of prerequisites or is it enough to talk to a partner? FA Would it be possible to do the activity via mail? no (like playing chess or something like that?) To prevent FAs: There is a whole range of activities during which you can experience bibriw. The important thing is where and in what situation you are performing these activities. |

So, bibriw is an unpleasant experience you most likely experience in an office work and it's worst with your boss. Could it be any office work, or does it have to be some special work? Speaking CAN be involved, but it doesn't have to be involved, right? Does the activity include your partner giving you something? Do you have to be in the same room/on the phone with your partner? Or can he make you experience Bibriw whilst not being physically there (Or on the telephone)? |

Is it the fact that the phone is ringing while having an important conversation? Or maybe something to finish (like a presentation)? Or maybe when the phone is ringing, some picture appears on the screen, which is not very "professional" (a cute cat, with the "I Love You" message, while you're telling the boss that in the next weeks it will the end of the world, e.g. : - ) |

Long shot in the dark: You said you pronounce it "bee - briff". Any relation to the "be brief" sentence? (e.g., one calls when you have some important activity, and keeps you at the phone for a long period of time). You also said that often computer is involved: Is there a technical interference between the phone and some part of the computer? |

Does bibriw involve that you, at the moment when a co-worker or your boss is coming (or the phone is ringing), are doing something you're not supposed to do at work? that you're not at your desk? that you want to go home but have to stay? that you have to do something you don't really like to do? |

Using company resources inappropriately? vould also be these ********SPOILER******** Bibriw is the strange feeling that your boss, co-workers or customers know exactly when you're slacking off and call you or come to your office at precisely that moment. (It's an acronym of big brother is wachting) Nice work everyone! And please check out my new puzzle that will be up in a minute. Speaking of using company resources inappropriately, I recently printed out a college-related document at work, and when I took it out of the printer, I got a paper cut. Karma is a (female dog). |
