Did this happen at your wedding? Were you being arrested, or otherwise restrained by police? Were you using the handcuffs to symbolise marriage? Were they novelty handcuffs? Was a prank involved? A hen/stag party type thing? |

Did this happen around the time of your wedding? At the reception? While exiting the church (or wherever it was held)? At/in the wedding car? |

seven days without a guess makes one week. The question is, why would intelligent adults cuff themselves together at the end of their reception? |

Were you playing a prank on others? Pretending you'd been arrested? Were you trying to stop yourselves being separated? Trying to prevent a prank being played on you? |

Were other guests at the wedding planning to "kidnap" one of you? Both of you? |

Good job Enjay, and all who helped. ****************************************SPOILER******************************************** In this little part of the world there were those who thought it fun to steal the bride away after the reception. On at least one occasion this resulted in a tragic accident. Being warned by my fiance that her cousins had such plans, I bought the cuffs. When we saw male cousins suddenly blocking each exit we put on the cuffs, imagine the disappointment for the two cousins who were last of the line, when one of them went to kiss the bride. As her arms came around his neck, my arm came up too, cuffed. Among the prized wedding pics are our cuffed wrists. Thanx to all who played |
