Was the baker concerned about the shortage of gingerbread during December. shortage of some other ingredient? Did he figure that the g-men would keep better cooked than the ingredients by themselves? Did he get a special buy (price)on some ingredient in November? Are his g-men made in a different way than those made at peoples homes. Is there some restriction to people making g-men at their homes? Is there a scheduling problem and he has orders for another product that will occupy all his time in December? |

Flu? Some kind of infection? An illness they'd had since birth? ********SPOILER******** This is taken from a short story set in a small village in Switzerland in the 1950s. An 8-year-old girl is diagnosed with leukemia and the doctors tell her parents that she only has a few months left. Her biggest wish is to celebrate one last Christmas, but her parents aren't sure if she'll make it, so her father decides to celebrate it a month early. To make things more convincing for his daughter, he wants the whole village to join - among them the baker, who decides to make his gingerbread men a months early to have them ready for early Christmas. Nice work, thanks for playing!! |
