In print, it's an advantage. On TV, not so much. |

Is text involved? Is this a characteristic of the printed material that would be completely useless if shown on TV (such as page numbers)? Is it something unnecessary on TV because a TV has sound? Is it something that is commonly seen on TV? Only rarely? Or perhaps it was shown only once? Is it something you would prefer in print because you would like to read it in a situation where there is no TV? |

Maps that show what the weather will be like in different places? That show temperature? Wind? Precipitation? Another weather feature? |

Is the shape of the country/region relevant? Is it a tall and thin country? Both my home countries, Norway and Sweden, are tall and thin, and fit much better to the newspaper format than the TV format - and widescreen makes it even worse. OTRT? |

OTRT? not only OTRT, but time for the ********SPOILER******** Germany has the perfect shape to fit on an A4 sheet, which comes in handy for geography books and other printed material. On widescreen TV, however, there's so much space on both sides that the weather map not only shows Germany, but also half of France and Poland. Nice work! |
