No *****SPOILER***** I'm currently living in a foreign country, and one of the most annoying things is the way that some people will happily talk about me in my presence, seemingly unable to believe that living in their country I might perhaps have taken the time to learn their language. In this puzzle, English Anna is working in France. During their lunchbreak, her coworker Steve is involved in a conversation in French about his holiday, and also gets in a few jibes at Anna. When he's finished, Anna asks sweetly and in perfect French "so do tell me, how was your holiday?", leaving Steve embarrassed as he realises she understood everything.
