The impossibility of being nice: caused by you? by her? by a third party? Immaterial circumstances?

Would this also be the case in a repeated setting, or only on that particular occasion? The impossibility limited in time? In space? Only applying to her, or would this also be the case for any other female? Gender important?

Was she ill? Recovering from an illness? Recently injured?

Did the nice thing you did, cause her to be physically more immobile in some way?

The nice thing that it was impossible for her to do:
Would it have been something she had often done in the past? Would it have been a courtesy to you i.e. a favor?

The nice thing she did: was it truly physically impossible? Not just extremely difficult? (e.g. someone with a broken leg and arm doing laundry is not really impossible, only difficult and impractical). Just checkin...

Did she expect it to be tidied? No. Did she plan to tidy it later? Yes. Did she need this being not tidied at that moment? No, the dishes being clean was not the cause of the issue.

Did you buy a dishwasher as a surprise to her? No. Did the dishwasher take space she needed for something? Yes.

Is it relevant in what room you keep dishwasher? If yes, in the kitchen? Is it always kept in the same place? Do you need to move it to run it? Move something else to run it?

Did she want to use other equipment that had to be moved in the space you used for dishwasher? If yes, kitchen equimpent? oven? washing machine?
Did she just need a free space? Can anyone work in the kitchen if the dishwasher is running?
Is it relevant when you move the dishwasher back to its standard place? Is it after emptying it?

This is good enough for a *****SPOILER*****
I've had a dishwasher sitting around for a while (a friend gave it to me because it was broken, and I enjoy repairing things, which I did). We didn't really have space for it, and my girlfriend was ok with doing the dishes anyway.
This time we had a lot of dirty dishes form some reason, so after she had gone to work (she starts two hours before me) I lugged the dishwasher into the kitchen, hooked it up, stuffed it and let it do its job while I went to work.
When she got home (again, before me) I asked her if she could boil me some potatoes until I got home. Unfortunately the big, heavy dishwasher blocked the cupboard with all the pots, so she couldn't get to them.

We have since made space and I've created a permanent hookup for the machine.
