The first is Man.
The second is God.
The third is very odd.
And everything equal is Buddha.

What are they?

Everything = First, Second, and Third?

Judging by the title, is art involved? Paintings? Photos?

Are these things physical or symbolic objects?

Are these objects in a group or are they separate?

Can you find these items in different country's or in one country?

Is money relevant?

Odd = strange? something not evenly divisible by two?

Is there significance to the fact that "Man" is capitalized? Could you replace it with HAM? or does it mean humankind? or possibly all males?

Everything = First, Second, and Third? Everything that is NOT first, second, or third.

Judging by the title, is art involved?Yes!
Paintings? Partly. Photos? Only in the sense that they can be photographed, not photos as works of art.

Are these things physical or symbolic objects? They are artistic representations of physical things.

Are these objects in a group or are they separate? Yope

Can you find these items in different countrys or in one country? As physical things, they are found everywhere. As artistic representations, the first two are found in one country, the fourth ("everything else") in more than one.

Is money relevant? No.

Odd = strange? or rare, yes. something not evenly divisible by two? n.r.

Is there significance to the fact that "Man is capitalized? Yes, referring to an artistic representation. Could you replace it with HAM? or does it mean humankind? as physical things represented in art, "humankind" is meant. or possibly all males? No; females also - as physical objects, not in art.

Excellent q's! I didn't realize I was going to have to tie myself in such knots trying to answer them!

Wait... I'm confused. Are you saying that the first and second "items" are real, turned into arr, but then the art is replicated in another form of art. Like physical objects are painted (or whatever form it's done in) and then the painting Is replicated in another form of art?

Or is it that physical things are replicated into art?

Are the first and second items (the art version) found in:
Asia?
North America?
South America?
Africa?
Oceania?
Europe?
Antarctica?
Cheezburgur land?

Is the art of performance involved?
Statues?
Music?
Digital?
Cheezburgurs?

Are you saying that the first and second "items" are real, turned into art, yes but then the art is replicated in another form of artThey may be reproduced, but that is n.r. to the puzzle.

Or is it that physical things are replicated into art? Yes/yessish.

Are the first and second items (the art version found in: Europe.

Is the art of performance involved? No
Statues? Yes for #4, "all equal."
Music? No
Digital? Yope - probably not as you are thinking of "digital."
Note: #3 is found now and then IRL (in real life) but AFAIK (as far as I know) not in art.

oh, I was thinking of finger puppets and fingers notes on a piano.

aaargh! toes? Yes!
***********SPOILER*************
Take a good look at your foot. If the first, or big, toe is the longest, this is the foot of Man, or at least of Vitruvian man, as depicted by Leonardo. 3/4 of all humans have this, so you are normal.
If the 2nd toe is longest, this is the foot of God, as depicted by Michelangelo on the Sistine ceiling. (Did he use his own foot as a model, as it was closest to hand? (Cringe!)). 1 in 5 of us have this.
If the 3rd toe is the longest, this is pretty rare, found in only 3 out of 100 people. No known representations in art, but might be useful when pointy-toe shoes are fashionable.
AFAIK, nobody has all 5 toes the same lengths, as the foot of Buddha is usually depicted, but some have the first 3 toes all the same length, about 2 in 100.
Me, I have a longer 2nd toe.

Adapted from Leonardo's Foot, by Carol Ann Rinzler.
