Despite the fact that I would rather french kiss a skunk than watch or appear on a reality tv show many of my work colleagues have reason to think that I'd be willing to enter one.

American football relevant? Pub quiz?

Is this a reality show that airs only on your side of the pond? or airs internationally? or airs in both the US and Ireland (and theoretically the UK), but has different versions on each side of the Atlantic (like [I think] Big Brother does)?

American football relevant? Pub quiz? No to both

Is this a reality show that airs only on your side of the pond? No or airs internationally? So yes or airs in both the US and Ireland (and theoretically the UK), but has different versions on each side of the Atlantic (like [I think] Big Brother does)? I'm not an expert on this show but it has a UK version and a US version and I'm pretty sure it exists in lots of other countries. There isn't an Irish version but we mainly watch UK tv here in the emerald isle.

Oh and it's not Big Brother.

Any of the following shows relevant:
Pop/American Idol
Britain/Americas Got Talent
The Bachelor
Hell's Kitchen and/or Kitchen Nightmare
The Apprentice
America/Britains Top Chef?

Those are the only British reality shows I can think of with American counterparts off the top of my head.

Is there a specific reason they think you'd enter X-Factor, as opposed to some other singing competition? Or would this puzzle work just as well with The Voice or Pop Idol?

Is the name "X-Factor" relevant? Is your daily task related to any particular X-Factor contestant or judge?

(For the love of God, please tell me this puzzle is Jedward-free.)

I believe it mainly applies to x-factor but not being a fan of shows of this type I'm not 100% sure Or would this puzzle work just as well with The Voice or Pop Idol? Have you ever heard Jedward being interviewed. They are definitely a few olives short of a pizza. They're very highly strung or at least should be (sorry bad taste).

As for the question about Mary and religion, I guess it's because of the title of the puzzle. I had to look it up myself, and it's something to do with Elizabeth talking to her cousin Mary 'Hail Mary'.

Sorry, I misinterpreted 'Darn right it is'! Should have realised you wouldn't stoop that low! apology accepted

As for the question about Mary and religion, I guess it's because of the title of the puzzle. I had to look it up myself, and it's something to do with Elizabeth talking to her cousin Mary 'Hail Mary'. Of course I forgot about the title. Bendicta Tu In Mulieribus means 'blessed art thou amongst women' and is of course taken from the 'Ave Maria' (my catholic upbringing coming into play). The only relevance of the title is that all my immediate work colleagues are women and I've a wife and three daughters at home so I'm most definitely blessed among women.

Do you do this activity at work?

Does this activity makes your coworkers think you sing? Does it make them think you watch X-Factor?

Do you do an activity that many singers would do? Does it involve eating/ drinking something singers often eat/drink? WAG: Honey relevant?

I sang in college, and got a lot of stares when I went around chugging honey whenever I lost my voice.

Do you do this activity at work? Yes it's actually part of my job

Does this activity makes your coworkers think you sing? Not in reality but what takes place might humourously imply that i'd be happy to Does it make them think you watch X-Factor? Same answer as above

Do you do an activity that many singers would do? No Does it involve eating/ drinking something singers often eat/drink? No WAG: Honey relevant? Fraid not

I sang in college, and got a lot of stares when I went around chugging honey whenever I lost my voice. I was wondering where the honey question came from

Hint: The impression that I would be prepared to go on x-factor is created in the course of my doing some aspect of my job role. The activity has nothing whatsoever to do with singing but something happens to give the impression that it does but only in a humourous way.

*************SPOILER*******************

My new job involves reviewing and signing off on various documentation that my company is issuing to either staff or customers. When my colleagues send me something to review and I'm approving it I tend to respond with standard wording such as 'I've reviewed the attached submission and am happy to sign off'.

However sign is one of those words that I repeatedly make a typo on so I regularly advise my team members that I'm happy to sing off. This leads to much mirth and references to the deadlock scenario in x-factor.

Thanks for playing.
