A bear is walking outside a city when he sets off a trap. This kills a man in the city. How?

Is the species of bear relevant? Was the bear in the woods? Was the trap in the same place that bear was?
Did the man in the city die at the moment when the trap was set off? Did he die murdered? Executed? Suicide? In an accident?

Is there a connection between the trap and the man/city? Electrical? Electronic? Wireless? Otherwise?
Is it a bear trap, or another, more general trap?

Is the trap physically connected to the man/city somehow? City yes, man no Is there another agent involved? Only the person who set the trap - which is the only reason he's relevant, so you can forget about him.

Did the person who set off a trap do it because of the bear?
When the trap was set off, did they see it in the city? Did they hear it in the city? Did they feel it in the city?
Did the trap kill the bear?
That kind of trap needs to be operated by human, correct?

Does "He" in the puzzle sentence refer to the man who set the trap? To the killed man?
Does the trap sets off automatically when the bear comes within its range? Or a human needs to set it off manually?

Was the city man the only man who was killed?

Is the man who was killed healthy and phsyically normal?

Was he in a particularly unusual or prone part of the city (e.g. a window cleaner on the side of a skyscraper who got knocked off, or standing beside a river running through the city)?

Was he a chef holding a knife, or a welder, or otherwise placed in a volatile position that was exacerbated by the trap's detonation?

Was the trap's area of effect particularly large?

Did the effect of the trap somehow discriminate against the man (affecting him due to a medical condition, age etc.)?

Is water, gas, or poisoning involved?

Can this be solved by someone without an intimate knowledge of the game mechanics of Minecraft?

Was there significant structural damage to the 'city'? Did parts of the city falling down or crumbling away cause a chain reaction, leading to significant area of destruction?

Was the trap 'activated' in a way that corresponds to how a similar situation would work out in reality (such as the bear walking into a detonation zone, or on to a landmine's trigger) or was it something unique to computer games (such as the bear triggering an error, or causing the creator of the world sitting behind his PC to delete an object or objects, or cause an error that crashed the game and destroyed the city?)

The trap in question is activated by the bear? Yes but the bear is not its target, correct? Yes he is arming the trap, essentially? Basically...

Is this in a Youtube video? Yep...

(By the way, I did make a blooper: The character who set off the explosion didn't actually use the bear skin until five videos later in the series.)

That's okay, the only Youtubers who I've seen wearing bear skins haven't worn them in forever -- I want to say Skydoesminecraft used to wear a Winnie the Pooh skin, before I ever watched him -- so that bloopered info won't hurt or help me in either case.

So the trap is activated by the bear leaving? Leaving the immediate area/chunk? Leaving the server/game? or is it activated by the bear leaving something for the victim? in a chest?

Remember: how was the trap set off? It was not a pressure plate, tripwire, proximity sensor, or lever, so it must have been...

By the way, I may have made a mistake: the bear did not "arm" the trap, as he did directly set it off.

****SPOILER****

The video in question is Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter's "Plan G", which takes place in a city two of the players built for all five of them. Towards the end of the video, one player, who now uses a Banjo-Kazooie skin in their Let's Plays, spotted an unlabeled button just outside the city and pushed it. The button activated 1500 blocks of TNT under the city, which completely destroyed it, killing the one player who happened to be in the city at the time.

Nice work Kalira. Now go watch the video while I try and think of a new puzzle.
