I was at a meeting this morning and after about half an hour I found my mind wondering and I began staring out of the window at the block of apartments across the road.

After 5 minutes or so of staring I resolved to make a change in my life that's probably overdue and took immediate steps to implement this.

Can you explain what happened

Was it to do with something or someone you saw in one of the apartments?
Was something happening, or someone doing something outside of the apartments?

Was your decision prompted by something that happened during the meeting? Something you saw through the window? Something that happened in the block of apartments?
Does the decision affect your professional life? Family life?

Lynne

Was it to do with something or someone you saw in one of the apartments? No not one particular apartment.
Was something happening, or someone doing something outside of the apartments? No

Redwine

Was your decision prompted by something that happened during the meeting? It happened while the meeting was on but it occurred outside of the meeting. Something you saw through the window? Yes Something that happened in the block of apartments? Nothing actually happened but the apartments are relevant.

Does the decision affect your professional life? No Family life? It could do but that would be stretching it a bit

Lynne

Did you resolve to pay more attention to meetings? Lol NEVER!!!!

Psydkik

Did you realise your job is boring my job isn't but our meetings can be, so stand up and say "I quit!"? Oh I'd love to have the cojones to do this but alas no. It's nothing quite so dramatic in truth.

So the windows with the blinds down formed a pattern that made you decide to quit a habit of yours - correct?

Is this habit a specific activity? A way of doing something? A way of speaking? Something to do with interacting with other people? Does it involve a specific object?

Is the habit consuming a product? Soda? Junk food? Cake? Smoking cigarettes? Smoking crack? Drinking alcohol? Getting drunk on the job? Biting your nails (hey, you're putting them in your mouth, so it counts!)

Is this a habit you do while working? At home? Outside your home but not at work? Would it be inappropriate to do this at work? Inappropriate enough to get you fired? Is it something you do inside? Outside? Would it be illegal to do this outside?

Biting your nails (hey, you're putting them in your mouth, so it counts!) Happily I can say no to all. I'm loving that smoking crack and cake can be in the same list of vices. Only in the wonderful world of the LTPF could this be. Thanks for brightening my morning.

Angry Birds? Fruit Ninja? Candy Crush? This one and we can move on to the ..............

*************Spoiler*************

I found myself staring at the block of apartments thinking to myself 'If I move a window with the blind drawn down one row I'd have 4 blinds drawn in a row and then I could eliminate a whole column of blind up windows'

It was then that I realised that I'd probably been playing Candy Crush a little too much for my own good.

Without hesitation i took out my phone and uninstalled it. There's got to be more to life surely.

Thanks for playing.

It is a good thing Balin . I'm resolving to spend a lot less time staring at my Phone and iPad like a zombie. Back to reading books that are made of paper.

Oh the puzzle title is a (for my benefit)REM reference. They have two songs with the word Crush in their names. 'Orange Crush' & 'Crush with Eyeliner' merged to form the puzzle title.
