Knocked out as in rendered unconscious? or eliminated from a competition?

Both are human adults? Can we call him Jim and her Lisa?

Is Jim's profession relevant? Lisa's? Do they know each other? Is there a game being played?

I'm trying to resist any obvious hangman questions.

We've already established that this occurred at home.

Did the events take place indoors? in the front or back yard?

If it took place indoors, is the room relevant?
If so, was it in the kitchen? bathroom? dining room? living room? den? basement?

Bucket prank relevant? Had he placed a bucket of water (or some kind of nasty stuff) ontop of the door? Had he forgotten to fix the bucket above the door with a piece of string so that instead of only dumping the contents on Lisa, the bucket itself fell and hit her on the head?

****SPOILER****

Pretty self-explanatory. Here's the video where I heard the story. I don't know if the woman was knocked unconscious, but it worked for the puzzle.

Good solve Doriana.
