Since my last riddle got solved pretty quickly, I thought I'd start a new one. 'Scott and Lily's First Date' is stilll unsolved, so please check it out.

Although their daughter begs to go, the parents realize it is an awful idea and refuse.

the parents - one H/A/M and one H/A/F? Yes
the daughter - 2-5 years old? 6-10? 11-14? 15-18? older? Probably 5-10 I guess. Relevant that she's a kid, exact age doesn't matter.

Does she want to go...
to a friend's place?
to a family member's place?
to the movies?
to a shop?
to a restaurant?
to an amusement park?
on holiday?
to school?

Does she want to go alone? With her parents? With someone else?

Do the parents think it'd be dangerous for her to go? for them?

to school? No to all.

Does she want to go alone? With her parents? With someone else? She's with her parents when she asks to go, but she'd gladly go with friends too.

Do the parents think it'd be dangerous for her to go? for them? Possibly, more likely uncomfortable.

Does the daughter not realize the reason it'd be a terrible idea? Can they explain to her why it's a bad idea?

Does the reason it'd be a terrible idea involve information that'd be age-inappropriate? Does it involve sex? Politics? Religion? Interpersonal conflict?

Does she want to go somewhere in the immediate vicinity? Can she see the place she wants to go to?

If the parents had a son instead of a daughter (the same age) that wanted to go, would they still think it was a terrible idea?

If the parents had a son instead of a daughter (the same age) that wanted to go, would they still think it was a terrible idea? Definitely; although it is less likely, but still possible, a boy would want to go.

Does the name of the event make it sound like something she'd be interested in? When really, she wouldn't be? Does she think its a rally for people who like tea parties? (:

Is it a rally of some sort? A religious institution? A museum? A convention?

Hit: The puzzle is much easier if you guess what the girl thought the museum was first.

Is the museum's content sexual in nature? Is homosexuality involved at all? Does it involve anything some parents might believe is morally wrong?

Does the museum's title involve the use of slang? Is it in the general form of "The Museum of X" or "The X Museum?"

Is the museum's content sexual in nature? Is homosexuality involved at all? {No to both.}Does it involve anything some parents might believe is morally wrong? Most definitely.

Does the museum's title involve the use of slang? No, the title is honest, but misleading. Is it in the general form of "The Museum of X" or "The X Museum?" The X Museum

It may be tough to guess the specific person, so if you get what tyoe of person it is, I think that will suffice.

Hehe, yes! You got it! And I did get this from Rat Race. Two puzzles solved in one day! Nice!
SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!
************************************************
The girl wanted to go to a Barbie Museum, but when the parents approach, they realize it is dedicated to the Nazi Klaus Barbie, not the doll. In the Rat Race, the family does not realize it until they start the tour. They are naturally terrified, especially since it's implied that they're Jewish. They manage to escape by saying they have to get to an afternoon Christening and Book Burning with their German friends. (: Thanks everyone who participated! I expected this to be harder. Please check out my other puzzle that's still unsolved.
