Another one...

How could Robert's really silly and irrational behaviour out of jealousy improve his health?

I have to call myself Robert again, since this is another only half-true story.

Was he jealous of that person because that person's life was generally better than his? Because there was a specific aspect of that person's life that made Robert envious?

Is eating in that restaurant considered unhealthy? Mostly, yes Did Robert envy the owner of the restaurant and did not want to increase his income?
If the owner ever found out...no =)

"Specific restaurant" might be misleading - it was just one restaurant in particular because there was just one of this kind in town at the time.

So Robert is jealous of Mark who lives in Hamburg. This jealousy means he does not eat in McDonalds and in theory leads a healthier life as a result.

Do we need to establish where Robert lives? Is there a McDonalds there? Does McDonalds selling Hamburgers remind him of Mark meaning he doesnt' go there?

I think this is close enough.

======== SPOILER ================

Robert fell in love with a girl, but she was already having a boyfriend (called Mark here), who lived in Hamburg.
Robert decided that he does not like any Hamburgers whatsoever (capitalized or not - it's not a question in German anyway), and proceeds to boycott McDonalds because of all the hamburgers there. This results in a healthier diet for Robert.

I really did this once - sort of lateral drama queen. The only untrue part is the health impact - since I just switched to Döner Kebap when I wanted fast food.

Thanks for everyone playing and congrats to Peter for finally finishing it off.

Ah, forgot to explain the title:

The title refers to the story that the St. Louis World Fair, 1904, was allegedly the first event when hamburgers were sold to a bigger public. They were still called "Hamburg" then, so everyone was surely aware where the food got its name from.
