Was there poison on the tablecloth? And she put food on it? Then ate the food and died?

Was the tablecloth damaged at any point?

Just making sure -- this is a normal tablecloth, right? Not just, say, a dishcloth that happened to be on a table?

Did she die by blunt force, cutting or piercing? By natural causes?

Was the tablecloth damaged at any point? yes

Just making sure -- this is a normal tablecloth, right? Not just, say, a dishcloth that happened to be on a table? it depends on what you mean by normal, but if you saw the one in our own kitchen you wouldn't think it abnormal

Did she die by blunt force, cutting or piercing? By natural causes? none of these

Hi Lynne

Is it actually made of cloth or is it one of the those plastic easy to clean jobs?

Can I call her Ava? Was she the victim of a crime? is her age relevant? occupation?

Was she eating when this happened? Was anyone else present? Was the tablecloth on the table when this occurred?

Did she die in her own home or in a restuarant? Did anything catch fire?

Was Ava doing something at the table other than eating? Did the tablecloth catch fire? or did she try and put out a fire with the table cloth?

Toxic fumes relevant?

On an ipad now so can't format properly.

The tablecloth caught fire and toxic fumes were relevant. Enough for the spoiler. A candle fell on the tablecloth and she took it into the garden but ruined her lungs in the process.

A lucky guess. I'll wait for you to return to your PC to post the spoiler.

Sorry about the messy ending. But that's all there is really.

*********** SPOILER *****************

A candle fell on the tablecloth and she took it into the garden but ruined her lungs in the process. I think it was two years later that she actually died but her lungs were severely compromised during that time

The poor woman . I heard once of a guy who was working on a car at home which caught fire. He dived into his garden pond to douse himself and his burns got infected and he died of septicemia.

As my mother used to say about fate 'if you're going to drown you'll never be shot'
