Are "we" HAM/Fs? What about the ones we might listen to, or the ones who are telling us something bad will happen? Are the ones telling us something bad will happen the same as the ones we shouldn't listen to? Is there anyone else relevant besides "we," "them," and ones who told us?

Is what we were told about something bad happening correct? Is the bad thing a death? Injury? A punishment? Something scary or shameful? Does the person warning us have good intentions, or malicious ones? What about the one we shouldn't listen to?

Given the title, is some sort of game involved?

Let us consider "them" as GroupAlpha
Let us consider "we" as GroupBeta

Are the members of GroupAlpha former members of GroupBeta?

related = blood related
Are GroupBeta members all related?
Are GroupAlpha members all related?

Did GroupBeta listen to GroupAlpha?
Did/Would the bad thing also affect GroupAlpha?

Is the task they ask for illegal?
If GroupBeta doesn't listen, does GroupAlpha get in trouble/have a problem?

Is the task dangerous?

Is GroupBeta comprised of people under 21/18 (non legal / under developed adults)

Sure

Spoiler:
We were given warning via e-mail that children employed by black market people would ask young women for directions and use this as a means to lead us to the place where we can be kidnapped and used in that way.
