So the puzzle, when completed, summons an evil creature? Which then eats/kills the solver? Is there more relevant info?

****** SPOILER ******

I got this puzzle idea from a book of scary stories that I read as a youngster and really loved.

A woman bought a jigsaw puzzle from a strange shop that she had found because the puzzle pieces were all blank and this intrigued her. She took the puzzle home, sat down at the kitchen and decided to try to solve it. She was amazed that as she fit the pieces together images began to appear that resembled parts of her kitchen. So kept going and realized the puzzle *was* of her kitchen! In fact, it was the area of the kitchen right behind where she sat. Curious, she kept going on until there was one last blank piece. The area where it fitted was right where her one kitchen window was. She put the piece in and was stunned to see that it depicted a hideous creature outside her window! She turned around and there it was, outside the window just like on the piece! The window was smashed, the monster lept in and well...suffice to say she was never seen again.

Great story. Someone did a variation of this on the forum many years ago. It reminds me of some goofy TV show that I saw once that was supposed to be spooky/scary but was really just cheesy. It was about these two kids who heard a story about a creature, and they learned that if you call the creature's name many times, it will come to where you are and something bad will happen. The creature was supposed to have very large hands. So the kids think it's a joke and start calling the creature's name several times, and nothing happens. So one night they are sitting in their living room on the floor and their parents are sitting on the couch. One of the kids calls the name out, and these arms with huge hands come out from behind the couch and crush the parents' heads.
