[Twilightseeker] An Uninvited Guest

Postby Twilightseeker » Tue Nov 22, 2016 4:13 am

They told me it was a sign of death, but in reality, it was life. Though still, to avoid it was quite logical.

Is not letting black cats cross your path the superstitious belief? or maybe just the bad luck associated with black cats in general?

Is not letting black cats cross your path the superstitious belief? or maybe just the bad luck associated with black cats in general? Neither of these. I would say that this is not as much of a well-known (codified) superstition, but it is still definitely superstitious

Is the "red tide" relevant? Yep! you got it!

***SPOILER***

The "red tide" is created by dinoflagellates in the water that can be neurotoxic to humans. Despite their being a form of life, red tides were often associated with death since they turn the water red like blood. They *can* cause death though, if one is overexposed to them.

Oh, and the title is a phrase from the Rush song "Red Tide":

This is not a false alarm,
This is not a test,
Nowhere we can fly away
Nowhere we can rest
The party is disrupted by
An uninvited guest

Quick solve, nice job!
