[KingLouie] Another instruction in manners

Wrong even in italics

I've been away from the forum for a while, and it is great to be back in touch (albeit with a different username).

This puzzle title and opening may seem familiar to some. The inspiration is most likely precisely what you would expect it to be if you do have a sense of deja vu here. However, my inspiration is rather, ahem, lateral in nature. I suspect this could be a quickie, but we'll see.

Having said that, everything you know is wrong... or is it? It's up to you to find out!

EDIT: It was indeed a quickie - thanks for participating!

Your middle paragraph - can I ignore that, given that the title and opening are not familiar and I have no sense of deja vu?

Is your title (Another instruction in manners) relevant to this puzzle?

PM'd you.

Yes, you can ignore the middle paragraph if you so choose, without losing the direction of the puzzle. To fill in those with no sense of deja vu here, I very blatantly plagiarized the opening from a puzzle from several months ago. Searching for said post is LAEFIRs, but at your own risk/peril.

Title is relevant/descriptive, for some definition of relevant/descriptive.

Responded to your PM - no, your idea is not correct, but is IMHO much more clever than mine.

"LAEFIRs" - What?
Manners = politeness, etiquette, deportment, elocution?
Is there someone who is receiving the instruction/s?

Italics: slanted text? Something related to Italy, Italian or Italians? The LTPF practice of using italics for comments relevant? Is a statement incorrect? Wrong: incorrect? Immoral? Illegal? Counterproductive? Illogical? Useless? Non-functional? Backwards?

Illegalish: against the rules? Against good practice? Against good forum manners? Cheating? Any other font formatting relevant?

********** SPOILER **************

I was looking through some older posts and as I started to read this one (Great puzzle, btw, Balin!):
http://www.lateralpuzzles.com/puzzles/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11843&p=54736
I immediately thought of the concept of how this forum is careful with the words SPOIL and SPOILER in order to help the admins/moderators in their housekeeping efforts. Of course, Balin's puzzle went a very different lateral direction from that concept.

So, I decided to try out my thought, and apparently wasn't "lateral" enough to last long with GalFisk in the audience.

Hopefully I can find a more clever offering for next time.
