Is the 5 year interval relevant? The actual colors? The woman? Is she the queen of England? Do the pictures show the whole picture? Or are there missing elements we should find out? Chroma keying relevant?

Light source colors relevant? Color temperature? LEDs? They were invented in this sequence (red, green, blue, cold white, warm white), relevant? Test images for electronic image processing equipment relevant? Are there relevant numbers missing? The numbers are years, correct? Do the years and photos refer to somethign that has happened? Will happen? Might happen? Should happen? Is a meme relevant?

Relevant where she wore these colored clothes? Why? When? Did she wear them in the years above the photos (those that have happened)? Are the names of the colors relevant? If so, in English? Some other language? Color of the gloves relevant? Of the hats, except that they match the rest? Meaning of the colors relevant?

Are the years a time span? An indication of what will happen in 5 years? An indication of what has happened in a date and that will repeat 5 years later? (E.g. 2019-2024 = color G is associated with both 2019 and 2024?) Is it correct to read them as a "from-to"? If so relevant why the past date is above for the first 2 pictures and below for the other 3?

Are colors references to something else like a country/flag? E.g. green = ireland
Is Brexit relevant? Is chronological order relevant? (2015 B, 2016 W, 2017 Y, 2018 R, 2019 G; 2020 B, 2021 W, 2022 Y, 2023 R, 2024 G...sort of history repeats itself)
Are cables and wires relevant? Tv channels? Tombstones relevant? Is poker (chips) relevant?

5 years span = length of a legislation?

Are W,Y,R,G,B initials? A rebus? Names? Does it represent an order in value? A chronological order? Order of events? Hierarchy? A hierarchy of people? Of things? Money?

Life cycle of insects relevant? Is a classification system of insects relevant? Are we talking about the same insect in different stage of his life? About different insects? About the same insect in different parts of the world? About different insects in different parts of the world? Do the years represent different stages of the insects'life? Sexual reproduction relevant? Are chinese (or other countrues that give the name of animals to years) years 'counting system relevant? Is it something like letters on butterflies'wings relevant? Color extraction from insects (e.g. red from ladybugs?)? Tracking insects relevant? Measuring their life lenght? Is the image a critique against something? An observation of a fact? Insects on space relevant? Are the insects test subjects?

If years are time span, relevant that they overlap? (E.g. period from 2016 to 2021 overlap with period from 2017 to 2022 in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) If they are not time spans, is the time window from 2015 to 2024 unique or did happen also before? (I mean: from 2015 to 2024 there are 10 years; is this specific time window relevant for insects or could it have also been 1893 - 1902 for instance?) Is Darwin relevant?

Are the events associated with insects? With human beings? With nature? Relevant that for each couple of years one of the two is in the future? If so, is this because now we can just guess what will happen? It never happened in the past what will happen?

UPDATE...

...So you've established that the animals are Queen bees. These are marked with the colours relating to a 5 year cycle, which is the potential lifespan of the Queen. There is one more thing you need to discover, and you've touched on it already. Put it all together!

Is it about the fact that years do not repeat? Relevant the color of each life cycle? Are we talking about different Queens? Is a comparison been made? Are different scenarios analysed? Is a question been made? Did Queen Elizabeth actually wore the colors in the first year (e.g. white in 2015..)?

Is the thing to be discovered the one involving humans? Is the death of the Queen bee associated to something negative? Are kindoms relevant?

Relevant how a Queen Bee borns? From another Queen? Relevant if the Queen dies before the 5 years cycle? Is honey relevant? Hive?

WYRGB = each letter is the initial of a word right? And the word indicates a Queen bee event? I mean these do not represent the initals of the colors right? Can a hierarchy be established like: W> Y>R>G>B? Does the cycle repeats (starting from W when B is reached)? If so are characteristics of Queen Bee relevant? E.g. every end of the cycle a Queen borns that is not fertile? Are the important dates the ending dates?

Is W a species of bee? A type of Queen bee? Are bees enemies relevant (e.g. wasps)? Is coincidence with negative events relevant? Relevant why W comes before B? (2020 comes before 2021 hence, maybe 2020 is associated with something not dangerous?)

Bee-related? yes Queen-related? well, the 5-word mnemonic itself is bee-related in general, although the marking system is specifically for queens. WAG: "Watch Your Royal Go Ballistic"? Haha! No, but I'll give you the second word is "YOU"

When you reign are the first 3? Is a suggestion? Is a rhyme involved? Is the last word bee? Relevant why the queen bees do not las more than 5 years? Eggs relevant?
Is it a way for beekeepers to recognize bees?

******************************$POILER***************************

Queen bees live between 1-5 years (occasionally up to 7 but this is rare). Most beekeepers mark their Queens according to the year of their birth, using this mnemonic:

Year ending in 1 or 6 = white (WILL)
Year ending in 2 or 7 = yellow (YOU)
Year ending in 3 or 8 = red (RAISE)
Year ending in 4 or 9 = green (GOOD)
Year ending in 5 or 0 = blue (BEES)

Queens mate 1-2 weeks after birth and start laying eggs within a couple of days - up to 2,000 a day! They store the sperm in their spermetheca and once it's used up, they become infertile and the hive is doomed - unless the Queen is replaced. The worker bees will generally raise a new Queen, but sometimes this process fails. The beekeeper will be mindful of this and take her age into consideration, replacing her if necessary.

Well done to Galfisk for the solve, and to Earnest and Trebor too :-)
