[WiZ] A Weighty Issue

Postby WiZ » Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:23 pm

Susie is at the gym, visibly struggling with a multi-purpose weight machine, which is set at one of the heaviest settings. Her personal trainer suggests she adjust the machine to a lighter setting, but then immediately regrets doing so. Why?

ROIMBT. Caveat Earlispoilor. OAATP rules apply.

Does he regret it because of something he: hears? Sees? Feels? Reads? Realizes? Remembers? Smells? Tastes? Experiences?

Is Susie actually exercising with the machine?
(took out questions because I forgot OAATP rules)

Is Susie moving the machine?

sigh

***** SPOILER *****

Susie is moving the weight machine. Changing it to a lower setting would not make this task any easier.

Well done, Balin. While I see you made light work of this, I do not say this with a heavy heart. I should probably pay more attention to my inner voice when it says 'Don't post this, they'll solve it immediately'.

Didn't actually expect that to be the answer - wanted to see what follow-up question gave the solution and there it was.
