So her dream is taking part in an international sports competition?
Yes, or more specifically representing her country at an international level Did she change the discipline she competed in becaus of her losing a leg?
YES And it turned out she was much better in the new discipline than in the old one? Or is it easier to get to an international level in the new discipline?
Bit of both, probably********SPOILER********
Noelle Lambert was an ambitious and talented lacrosse player - good enough to play college lacrosse, but not quite National Team material. She lost her leg at age 19, fought her way back onto the lacrosse field and decided to pursue a second athletic career as a para track sprinter after college. In 2019, she competed at the World Para Athletic Championships in Dubai, meaning that her dream of representing the United States in an international competition finally came true - just not in the sport she had imagined. This is based on a true story - see link above - but I don't know if competing internationally was ever actually Noelle's dream.
Well done, GalFisk and markobr!
