[invisiblemimsy] A Tale of Two Titties

There were three. Josie thought she’d got two for the price of one. But she hadn’t reckoned on Dan.

Josie = HAF? Dan = HAM?
Three = two for the price of one = services? Drinks?
Food? objects? Did Josie buy one of them? 2? 3? More? Did Dan? Were there other people relevantly?

Things that can be bought in a supermarket? In internet? Is technology relevant? Was there an offer? Is the price of one releatively high? More than 100$? More than 500$? Did all the 3 have the same price?

There were three = there were a total of 3 objects? 3 people? If the former, the same objects?

she’d got two for the price of one = she paid for one but she obtained two? Dan offered one to her? Has an order been done? If so in a restaurant? In a pub? Did Janie order 2 but arrived 3 and thought that she got one for free? Did someone else order?

She had not reckoned on Dan = she did not consider the presence of Dan? That one belonged to Dan? She did not consider that Dan paid one of them/more than one?

So objects = cigarettes? Objects used in houses? Consumed immediately? Used in a place of business? Means of transport? Books? Dvds? Letters? Docunents? Papers? Tickets? Sport relevant?
Hobbies? Music? Cars? Oil? Igyene relevant? Health care? Journals? Clothing? sold in packages? Boxes? Are they sold in pairs? Basing on their weights? On the quantities bought? Are they bigger than a tennis ball? Than a football ball?

Are they usually sold in seven eleven? In pubs? In clothing shops? In dedicated shops? In vending machines? In banks? Sold together with something else? Could they be booked by people buying them?

Did she got 2 for the price of 1? 3 for the price of 2?

Were there offers? E.g. if a certain expense is overcome another object is for free? Discounts relevant? Points to be accumulated? Did she end up having 3 objects? 2? 1? Relevant?
Did she think to have 2 for the price of 1 in the moment that she was given the objects? In the moment in which she waited for the objects? When she was paying for the objects? Did she realize she had not, when the objects were given to her? When Dan took his objects?

Did Dan paid for something? Bought something? Put something near the objects she bought? Put wrong prices?

But she had not reckoned on Dan --> had she reckoned on Dan, would she realize that she had not got 2 for the price of one? she did not expect Dan? She did not expect his presence? She had not taken into account something related to Dan? Was Dan a friend? His son? Did she know Dan? Were they collegues? In a relationship? Relevant? Did they have an interaction relevantly? Did Dan work for the place where she bought the objects?
Is Dan the cause of her thought of having 2 for the price of 1? Or is Dan the cause of she not having 2 for the price of 1? Is a row relevant at all?

So recapping: she hoped to have 2 clothing objects at price of 1, but a relevant interaction with Dan (did she realized that she would not have got 2 for 1 as soo as she had the interaction with Dan? After?), who worked in the clothing shop, made she realize that she had not right?

Clothing objects = socks? Shoes? Pants? Dresses? Underwear? Hats? costume jewelry?

Clothing = sport clothing? Every day clothing? Masks? Costumes?

Did something (something written?) made her think that an offer 2 for 1 was present?
Are sizes relevant? Annual collections? Discounts? Mannequins? Writings like: "x2" "2x" "2x1" "2 for 1" " 2 4 1" "half price"?

Interaction with Dan: Dan suggested her a piece of clothing? He talked relevantly to her? She paid to him? Misallocation of clothing relevant (a piece of clothing put somewhere though it was supposed to be placed somewhere else?)? Did Dan cover a relevant writing? Shop window relevant? Something written there? Was the shopping window still under construction? If so was the work done by Dan?
Is there a relevant park of Dan's work for the puzzle? If so: receive payments? Pack up products (before they are bought? After they are bought buy customers? Pack up as gifts?)? Write down offers? Label products with prices? Suggest costumers on clothes? Labels products with sizes? Human mannequin?

Did she buy the piece of clothing in a particular time of the year? Christmas? Her birthday? Spring? Summer? Between two seasons?

***************************$POILER********************

Josie tried some bras on for size in the changing room and decided to get two but pay for 1. She put the bra 2 in the same box as bra 1. She put her old bra in the other box and put it back on the shelf. She then left the changing room and went to pay. Dan, the cashier, was used to this ruse as she wasn't the first to try it. He checked the box to make sure it only contained one bra. She got arrested for shoplifting.

Well done Earnest and Galfisk!
