Are we talking about cartoon? Real life? A bird born without wings (I mean that is usual for the birds of that species not to have wings)? So are we talking about an animal classified as a bird which physically had no wings? If was the bird able to fly? Fastest = on the ground? Up in the air? If up in the air, fastest in the sense that using its physical attributes he could reach very high speed in flying? Or that he was transported by an artificial engine which allowed the bird to reach that speed? I mean, if the above are correct, we know that ostrich is the fastest bird in the world on the ground...all we need to discover is wheather ostrich is also in the "East" and what is meant by East...

Chinese calendar relevant?

Chinese kitchen? Is the bird cooked? It is the only bird not cooked because it was too fast? Is it fast in absolute terms (I mean is it faster also than a human for instance?)? Are there relevant laws about this bird?

Did we establish that the bird in question is indeed the ostrich? What, where? You just established that the bird in question is NOT the ostrich :D

Haha, Earnest mentioned in a previous post that the fastest bird on the ground was the ostrich, but your reply didn't really comment on that, so I wasn't sure

Fastest = its cooking time is the fastest? so it always arrives at the table first?
Is this a bird that is commonly eaten in China? In the West? Chicken? Duck? Albatross? Haha

At the 2008 Beijing Olympics Usain Bolt set world records for the 100m and 200m races, and the 4x100m relay, gaining 3 gold medals. Pretty much his entire diet at that event was McD's chicken nuggets, because he didn't like Chinese food. He would have been 'carrying' those birds during his events!

Well done to everyone who took part, and to Galfisk for the final solve.
